Location search privacy and terms

AstroNavia uses Google Maps Platform to suggest birthplaces and find their coordinates and time zones. When you type in the birthplace search, your search text is sent through AstroNavia to Google. Selecting a result sends its place identifier to Google, followed by a time-zone lookup for its coordinates. Your name, birth date, birth time and chat messages are not included in these location requests.

Google Maps features are subject to the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. By using these features, you agree to the applicable Google terms.

AstroNavia stores your birth profile in your signed-in account after you consent. For a Google-selected location, we retain your own search text and its place identifier. Coordinates and the time-zone response are used for the current form or calculation and are retrieved again when needed; they are not retained in the saved profile or raw chart snapshot. Manually entered location information is saved as part of your profile. You can delete a profile in AstroNavia, which also removes its saved charts.

Location suggestions may be incomplete. Confirm the intended place before saving. You can clear the selection and enter a birthplace, coordinates and time zone manually instead. AstroNavia calculates astrological charts itself; Google does not provide astrological interpretations.
