Your privacy
Updated September 14, 2026. This explains how AstroNavia uses information in the website and iPhone and iPad app.
Information you provide
We receive your account identifier, name and email when you sign in. Saved birth profiles contain the name, birth date, birth time, time accuracy, birthplace and optional male or female reference you enter. Manual location entries include coordinates and a time zone. Saved charts, questions, replies and comparison results belong to your signed-in account. Only add another person’s information with their permission.
How it is used
Your details support sign-in, chart calculations, personalized readings and saved conversations. Purchase references, point adjustments, AI usage and request records support billing, account security and recovery from interrupted requests. AstroNavia does not request your current GPS location, microphone, contacts or advertising identifier.
Services involved
Cloudflare hosts the application and calculations. Supabase provides sign-in and profile storage. Apple and Google provide optional sign-in. Google receives birthplace search requests; see location search details.
When you use AI chat, your question, relevant conversation history and calculated chart or pair facts are sent to OpenAI to generate the reply. The iPhone app asks for permission before this sharing. AI consent can be withdrawn in Settings. If online read-aloud is available, the selected reply text is sent to the configured Microsoft speech service; device read-aloud uses the voices provided by your device.
Apple processes App Store payments and Shopify processes website payments. AstroNavia receives purchase and payment-status references to manage points, not the full payment-card details entered in those checkouts. Each provider also processes information under its own policies.
Advertising in the iPhone and iPad app
Starting with version 1.0 (build 36), occasional Google AdMob ads help support the free app. New users select their own age range during setup. Users aged 16 or older are eligible for ads after the required privacy checks; users under 16 are not shown ads. Age selection is separate from Google’s consent choices. Your age range and visit and ad-frequency counters stay on your device; we do not infer your age from a birth profile. Existing users keep their saved ad choices and the option to pause ads offered in earlier builds.
After the first three visits, an eligible user may see a dismissible image or video ad when you return to Home, no more than once every six hours. Google’s Mobile Ads and User Messaging Platform SDKs process IP addresses (which may indicate approximate location), device and app information, advertising interactions, consent choices, crash reports and performance diagnostics to deliver ads, measure them, manage privacy choices and prevent fraud. Google may associate advertising data with device identifiers. We disable ad personalization and publisher first-party ID, do not request Apple’s tracking permission or access to the advertising identifier, and do not send birth details, precise birthplace coordinates, saved profiles, questions or conversations for advertising.
Where required, Google’s consent form appears before ads can be requested. Ads are requested only when Google’s privacy status permits them. You can decline consent or manage your choices; this may limit or prevent ads, and the app remains usable. Open More → Settings & privacy → Advertising privacy to update your age range or reopen Google’s privacy choices when available. Existing users who were offered optional ads also retain their pause control. Changing these choices does not erase information Google already received; see Google’s Privacy Policy and Google’s ad privacy controls. The AstroNavia website does not load the AdMob SDK.
Storage and deletion
For a requested Jathakam PDF, we keep a copy of the birth details you authorize, your quote and payment status, and the finished report. Accepted reports are prepared automatically. OpenAI hosts the report calculation and PDF preparation, and provides the annual and life-area writing with a separate automated evidence review. The authorized birth details are used for that preparation. Private report files are stored on Cloudflare and are available through authenticated access to the purchaser and AstroNavia’s administrator. Downloads you save or share remain under your control.
Deleting a profile also removes its Jathakam birth-detail copies and private PDFs. An undelivered report payment is returned to the wallet once; deleting an already delivered PDF does not refund it. Account deletion removes these personal report files and details too. Basic order and financial references remain for reconciliation. Calculation and writing checkpoints remain private with the report for recovery and verification until deletion. Temporary cloud preparation sessions are closed after completion or cancellation; provider retention rules also apply.
You can delete saved profiles and their charts. In the iPhone app, Settings → Delete account removes your account, birth profiles, saved charts and conversation text. Unused points become inaccessible. Financial, fraud-prevention and deletion records may remain where needed for payment reconciliation and applicable obligations. Provider logs and backups may follow separate retention schedules.
Sign-in credentials on your iPhone are stored in the system Keychain. Connections use HTTPS. No system can promise absolute security. We do not sell your birth profiles or conversation content.
